By definition, a hobby is a spare-time recreational pursuit. But it is more than that! My hobbies keeps my mind away from my current worries, they keep my hands busy and it works the creative side of my brain.
I used to laugh at people who spend time collecting stamps but I discovered that most of them were more knowledgeable than I was, they had a broader general knowledge enhanced partly by their hobby and partly by socialising with fellow hobbyists and, in general, they were really nice jolly people.
I dedicate this site to all people with busy hands that make beautiful things and to those who, like me, enjoy making or looking at beautiful things.
